Converse Pro Streets: London

It was an honor to work together with Kiboko for Converse. During the filming, we showed what we always do: Drawing and Painting! It's always incredibly fun and inspiring to do collaboration with Kiboko. Although Kiboko was the main feature, I'm so happy that I got to work together on the same canvas with him. Kiboko + Robert + Eunie Collaboration at Lock 7 Cafe

This was my "last" chance to paint with the collective members in London. I say "last" because I don't know when we will paint together in London next time.
We were painting at the Lock 7 Cycle Cafe, which is located next to the canal. It is one of the most unique cafes I have ever been to, it's definitely worth the visit!

Kiboko + Eunie Collaboration

I was very lucky to collaborate with my mentor, Kiboko. We painted these for Anouk because we were so thankful for her and her team for giving us the opportunity to work with them. They were such genuinely kind and awesome people. I hope to see them again soon:)

These paintings can be connected in different ways like puzzle pieces.

In That House...

Acrylic on Canvas. 2008

This was a painting I did back in 2008. I'd forgotten about this painting until I found it amongst my other works. I gave it to my mentor as a thank-you gift before I move back to New York City.

In 2008 I was given a brief to illustrate a French poem. I think it was called Dans Paris by Paul Éluard.

I added a fantasy element because isn't it boring
to provide literal images when we can already do that by ourselves (in our heads)?

I'll scan the rest of the illustrations for this poem soon.

TOMORA (Chapter one)

Zine A5 size.
I used a cream-colored paper because it creates a soft, dreamy effect that compliments both black & blue color.

Camberwell Illustration Degree Show 2012

Location of my work:

I took this photograph when I just finished hanging up my work. I couldn't take pictures when the show was open to public... it was so crowded! Thank you for everyone who came to the Final Year Degree Show at Camberwell College of Arts and Design!

For Dominique

This is a gift for Dominique.

Framed

Original

I've been away from London for almost a month. I'm so thankful for Dominique and Rémy for letting me stay at their home in Belgium and France. I already miss both of them very much. I really love them from the bottom of my heart.
